Rear Seat Assy
OVERHAULHINT: The installation is in the reverse order of the removal. However, when there is a special point concerning the installation, it is indicated.
1. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSY LH AND RH
2. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSY CENTER
3. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSY LH
a. Remove the 2 hinge covers.
b. Remove the 2 bolts and seat cushion assy.
4. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSY RH
a. Remove the 2 hinge covers.
b. Remove the 2 bolts and seat cushion assy.
5. REMOVE REAR SEAT BACK BOARD CARPET ASSY LH
a. Using a screwdriver, disengage the 6 clips and remove the carpet assy.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
6. REMOVE REAR SEAT BACK ASSY LH
a. Remove the 2 bolts and seatback assy.
7. REMOVE REAR SEAT BACK BOARD CARPET ASSY RH
a. Using a screwdriver, disengage the 9 clips and remove the carpet assy.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
8. REMOVE REAR SEAT BACK ASSY RH
a. Remove the bolt and the floor anchor for rear seat belt assy outer center.
b. Remove the 2 bolts and seatback assy.
9. REMOVE REAR SEAT BACK HINGE SUB-ASSY LH
a. Remove the bolt and seatback hinge.
10. REMOVE REAR SEAT BACK HINGE SUB-ASSY RH
a. Remove the bolt and seatback hinge.
11. REMOVE REAR SEAT BACK HINGE SUB-ASSY CENTER
a. Remove the 2 bolts and seatback hinge sub-assy.
12. REMOVE REAR SEAT LOCK STRIKER SUB-ASSY
a. Remove the 6 bolts and 2 lock strikers.
13. REMOVE REAR SEAT ARMREST ASSY CENTER
a. Remove the screw and armrest cover.
b. Remove the bolt and armrest assy.
14. REMOVE REAR SEAT BACK LOCK COVER LH
a. Remove the screw and seatback lock cover.
15. REMOVE REAR SEAT BACK LOCK COVER RH
a. Remove the screw and seatback lock cover.
16. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEAT BACK COVER LH
a. Using a screwdriver, disengage the 2 claws and remove the stop button grommet.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
b. Remove the 2 headrest supports.
c. Remove the hog rings and the seatback cover together with the pad from the seatback frame.
d. Remove the hog rings and the seatback cover from the seatback pad.
17. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEAT BACK COVER RH
a. Using a screwdriver, disengage the 2 claws and remove the stop button grommet.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
b. Using a screwdriver, disengage the 4 claws and remove the shoulder belt cover.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
c. Remove the 2 headrest supports.
d. Remove the hog rings and the seatback cover together with the pad from the seatback frame.
e. Remove the hog rings and seatback cover from the seat-back pad.
18. REMOVE REAR SEAT BACK LOCK ASSY LH
a. Remove the seatback lock release button.
b. Remove the 2 bolts and seatback lock assy.
19. REMOVE REAR SEAT BACK LOCK ASSY RH
HINT: Use the same procedures described above for the LH side.
20. REMOVE REAR SEAT BELT ASSY OUTER CENTER
a. Remove the nut and belt assy.
21. REMOVE REAR NO.1 SEAT HINGE SUB-ASSY LH
a. Remove the 2 bolts and 2 hinge sub-assy.
22. REMOVE REAR NO.1 SEAT HINGE SUB-ASSY RH
a. Remove the 2 bolts and 2 hinge sub-assy.
23. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION UNDER COVER LH
a. Disengage the cushion cover hook.
b. Remove the cushion cover together with the pad.
c. Remove the 4 clips and cushion under cover.
24. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION UNDER COVER RH
HINT: Use the same procedures described above for the LH side.
25. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER LH
a. Remove the hog rings and cushion cover from the cushion pad.
26. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER RH
a. Remove the hog rings and cushion cover from the cushion pad.
27. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER LH
a. Install the seat cushion cover to the seat cushion pad with the new hog rings.
b. Install the seat cushion cover with the pad to the seat cushion frame with new hog rings.
HINT: When installing hog rings, take care to prevent wrinkles as little as possible.
28. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER RH
HINT: Use the same procedures described above for the LH side.
29. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION UNDER COVER LH
a. Install the under cover with the 5 clips.
30. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION UNDER COVER RH
a. Install the under cover with the 7 clips.
31. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEAT BACK COVER LH
a. Install the seatback cover to the seatback pad RH with the new hog rings.
b. Install the seatback cover with the pad to the seatback frame with new hog rings.
HINT: When installing hog rings, take care to prevent wrinkles as little as possible.
32. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEAT BACK COVER RH
HINT: Use the same procedures described above for the LH side.
33. INSTALL REAR NO.1 SEAT HINGE SUB-ASSY LH
a. Install the 2 hinge assy with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 18 N.m (184 kgf.cm, 13 ft.lbf)
34. INSTALL REAR NO.1 SEAT HINGE SUB-ASSY RH
HINT: Use the same procedures described above for the LH side.
35. INSTALL REAR SEAT BELT ASSY OUTER CENTER
a. Install the belt assy with the nut.
Torque: 42 N.m (428 kgf.cm, 31 ft.lbf)
36. INSTALL REAR SEAT ARMREST ASSY CENTER
a. Install the armrest assy with the bolt.
Torque: 8.0 N.m (82 kgf.cm, 71 in.lbf)
b. Install the armrest cover with the screw.
37. INSTALL REAR SEAT LOCK STRIKER SUB-ASSY
a. Install the 2 strikers with the 6 bolts.
Torque: 18 N.m (184 kgf.cm, 13 ft.lbf)
38. INSTALL REAR SEAT BACK HINGE SUB-ASSY CENTER
a. Install the hinge sub-assy with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 18 N.m (184 kgf.cm, 13 ft.lbf)
39. INSTALL REAR SEAT BACK HINGE SUB-ASSY LH
a. Install the hinge sub-assy with the bolt.
Torque: 18 N.m (184 kgf.cm, 13 ft.lbf)
40. INSTALL REAR SEAT BACK HINGE SUB-ASSY RH
HINT: Use the same procedures described above for the LH side.
41. INSTALL REAR SEAT BACK ASSY LH
a. Install the seatback assy with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 37 N.m (377 kgf.cm, 27 ft.lbf)
42. INSTALL REAR SEAT BACK ASSY RH
a. Install the seatback assy with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 37 N.m (377 kgf.cm, 27 ft.lbf)
b. Install the floor anchor with the bolt.
Torque: 42 N.m (428 kgf.cm, 31 ft.lbf)
43. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSY LH
a. Install the cushion assy with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 37 N.m (377 kgf.cm, 27 ft.lbf)
b. Install the 2 hinge covers.
44. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSY RH
HINT: Use the same procedures described above for the LH side.
