DTC B1241 Body ECU Switch Circuit DiagnosisCIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
These DTC notify how the switch works as follows:
If the DTC is not output when operating the switch, switch contact has failed. If the DTC is output when not operating the switch, it means the switch is ON or stuck. When something wrong is found by this diagnosis, inspect each switch. Replace the switch if there is a problem or check the body ECU and wire harness.

FOR THE LIGHT CONTROL SWITCH:
Headlamp Dimmer Switch Assembly (w/ Fog Light)
a. Inspect light control switch continuity.
1. Check that the continuity between terminals at each switch position, as shown in the chart.
b. Inspect headlight dimmer switch continuity.
1. Check that the continuity between terminals at each switch position, as shown in the chart.
c. Inspect turn signal switch continuity.
1. Check that the continuity between terminals at each switch position, as shown in the chart.
d. Inspect front fog light switch continuity.
1. Check that the continuity between terminals at each switch position, as shown in the chart.
Headlamp Dimmer Switch Assembly (w/o Fog Light)
a. Inspect light control switch continuity.
1. Check that the continuity between terminals at each switch position, as shown in the chart.
b. Inspect headlight dimmer switch continuity.
1. Check that the continuity between terminals at each switch position, as shown in the chart.
HINT: Turn headlight dimmer switch to "HEAD" when checking "LOW BEAM" and "HI BEAM"
c. Inspect turn signal switch continuity.
