Removal and Installation

REPLACEMENT

1. REMOVE BATTERY
2. REMOVE AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY




3. REMOVE STARTER ASSEMBLY
a. Remove the 2 bolts and starter.
b. Disconnect the starter connector.
c. Remove the nut, and disconnect the lead wire from terminal 30.

4. INSTALL STARTER ASSEMBLY

Torque:
Bolt 42 N.m (429 kgf.cm, 31 ft.lbf)
Nut 9.8 N.m (100 kgf.cm, 7 ft.lbf)

5. INSTALL AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY

Torque: 5 N.m (51 kgf.cm, 44 in.lbf)
