Transmission Speed Sensor: Service and Repair

REPLACEMENT





1. REMOVE SPEED SENSOR
a) Disconnect the speed sensor connector.
b) Remove the bolt and speed sensor.





c) Remove the O-ring from the speed sensor.





2. INSTALL SPEED SENSOR
a) Coat a new O-ring with ATF and install it to the speed sensor.





b) Install the speed sensor with the bolt.
Torque: 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 inch lbs.)
c) Connect the speed sensor connector.
