Without Rear No.2 Seat For RH Side
REMOVAL
1. REMOVE REAR SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER INNER
a. Move the rear No.1 seat assembly RH to the rear most position by operating the rear seat track adjusting handle.
b. Using a screwdriver, disengage the 2 claws.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
c. Pull the rear seat track bracket cover inner toward the rear of the vehicle and remove them.
2. REMOVE REAR SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER OUTER
HINT: Use the same procedures as above to remove the rear seat track bracket cover outer.
3. REMOVE REAR NO.1 SEAT ASSEMBLY RH
a. Using a clip remover, remove the 5 clips.
b. Remove the bolt and disconnect the floor anchor side of the fold seat stopper band assembly No.1.
c. Move the rear No.1 seat assembly RH to the rear most position by operating the rear seat track adjusting handle.
d. Remove the 2 bolts on the front side.
e. Move the rear No.1 seat assembly RH fully forward by operating the rear seat track adjusting handle.
f. Remove the 3 bolts on the rear side.
g. Move the rear seat assembly LH to the center position and adjust the seatback to the vertical position.
h. Remove the rear No.1 seat assembly RH.
INSTALLATION
1. INSTALL REAR NO.1 SEAT ASSEMBLY RH
a. Place the rear No.1 seat assembly RH in the vehicle and align the adjuster pin with the hole on the vehicle side.
b. Move the rear No.1 seat assembly RH to the rear most position by operating the rear seat track adjusting handle.
NOTE: Check that the seat is locked.
c. Temporarily install the front side of the rear No.1 seat assembly RH with the 2 bolts.
d. Recline the separate type rear seatback forward by operating the rear seat lock control lever sub-assembly.
e. Move the rear No.1 seat assembly RH fully forward.
NOTE: Check that the seat is locked.
f. Temporarily install the rear side of the rear No.1 seat assembly RH with the 3 bolts.
g. Return the separate type rear seatback to the upright position.
h. Move the rear No.1 seat assembly RH to the rear most position by operating the rear seat track adjusting handle.
NOTE: Check that the seat is locked.
i. Fully tighten the 2 bolts on the front side of the rear No.1 seat assembly RH in the order of the inner side bolt and then the outer side bolt.
Torque: 37 N.m (377 kgf.cm, 27 ft.lbf)
j. Recline the separate type rear seatback forward by operating the rear seat lock control lever sub-assembly.
k. Move the rear No.1 seat assembly RH fully forward.
NOTE: Check that the seat is locked.
l. Fully tighten the 3 bolts on the rear side of the rear No.1 seat assembly RH in the order of the inner rear side bolt, the inner front side bolt, and then the outer side bolt.
Torque: 37 N.m (377 kgf.cm, 27 ft.lbf)
m. Return the separate type rear seatback to the upright position.
n. Move the rear No.1 seat assembly RH to the rear most position by operating the rear seat track adjusting handle.
NOTE: Check that the seat is locked.
o. Install the floor anchor side of the fold seat stopper band assembly No.1 with the bolt.
Torque: 9.0 N.m (92 kgf.cm, 80 in.lbf)
p. Install the 5 clips.
2. INSTALL REAR SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER OUTER
3. INSTALL REAR SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER INNER
4. INSPECT SLIDE ADJUSTER LOCK
a. Check that the left and right adjusters lock simultaneously when sliding the seat.
b. If the left and right adjusters do not lock simultaneously, adjust by loosening the bolts securing the seat.
