Multiplex Communication

TERMINALS OF ECU

1. MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU
a. Check the body ECU.
1. Disconnect the body ECU connectors B9 and B12.

2. Check the voltage or continuity of each terminal of the vehicle's side connectors.

HINT: If the value is not as specified, the vehicle's side may be defective.


Terminals Of Control Modules/Pinouts-Power Window Regulator Master Switch:




2. POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY (DOOR ECU)
a. Check the master switch.
1. Disconnect the master switch connector.
2. Check the voltage or continuity of each terminal of the vehicle's side connector.

HINT: If the value is not as specified, the vehicle's side may be defective.

3. COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY (METER ECU)
a. Check the meter.
1. Disconnect the meter connector C11.

2. Check the voltage or continuity of each terminal of the vehicle's side connector.


HINT: If the value is not as specified, the vehicle's side may be defective.

4. AIR CONDITIONER AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY (A/C ECU)
a. Check the air conditioner amplifier.
1. Disconnect the air conditioner amplifier connector A10.

2. Check the voltage or continuity of each terminal of the vehicle's side connector.

HINT: If the value is not as specified, the vehicle's side may be defective.

5. THEFT WARNING ECU ASSEMBLY (THEFT DETERRENT ECU)
a. Check the theft warning ECU.
1. Disconnect the connector.

2. Check the voltage or continuity of each terminal of the vehicle's side connector.

6. ECM
a. Inspect the ECM operation.

1. Check the voltage or continuity of each terminal of the vehicle's side connectors.

NOTE:
- The inspection should be started from the back side of the connector with the ECM connector being connected.
- Before the measurement, check the power source voltage (10 to 14 V when IG ON) and body ground (5 Ohms or less between each ground terminal and the engine body, when IG OFF).

Terminals Of Control Modules/Pinouts-Sliding Roof Drive Gear Sub-Assembly (Sliding Roof ECU):




7. SLIDING ROOF DRIVE GEAR SUB-ASSEMBLY (SLIDING ROOF ECU)
a. Check the sliding roof ECU.
1. Disconnect the sliding roof ECU connector.
2. Check the voltage or continuity between each terminal of the vehicle's side connectors.
