Radio/Stereo: Service and Repair
REMOVAL1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
2. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY CENTER
3. REMOVE INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY (w/o Navigation System)
a. Remove the 6 bolts
b. Disconnect the connector and remove the integration control and panel assembly.
4. REMOVE INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY (w/ Navigation System)
a. Remove the 6 bolts.
b. Disconnect the connector and remove the integration control and panel assembly.
5. REMOVE RADIO RECEIVER (w/o Navigation System)
a. Remove the 6 bolts and the No.1 radio bracket.
b. Remove the 6 bolts and the No.2 radio bracket.
6. REMOVE RADIO RECEIVER (w/ Navigation System)
a. Remove the 7 bolts and the multi-display controller bracket A.
b. Remove the 7 bolts and the multi-display controller bracket B.
INSTALLATION
1. INSTALL RADIO RECEIVER (w/ Navigation System)
a. Install the multi-display controller bracket B with the 7 bolts.
b. Install the multi-display controller bracket A with the 7 bolts.
2. INSTALL RADIO RECEIVER (w/o Navigation System)
a. Install the No.2 radio bracket with the 6 bolts.
b. Install the No.1 radio bracket with the 6 bolts.
3. INSTALL INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY (w/ Navigation System)
a. Connect the connectors.
b. Install the integration control and panel assembly with the 6 bolts.
4. INSTALL INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY (w/o Navigation System)
a. Connect the connectors.
b. Install the integration control and panel assembly with the 6 bolts.
5. INSTALL INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY CENTER
6. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
7. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
NOTE: Some systems need initialization when disconnecting the cable from the negative battery terminal.
