Rear No. 1 Seat Assembly (For Center Seat)
DISASSEMBLY1. REMOVE REAR SEAT LEG COVER LH
a. Remove the 2 screws and seat leg cover.
2. REMOVE REAR SEAT LEG COVER RH
a. Remove the 2 screws and seat leg cover.
3. REMOVE REAR SEAT LEG SIDE COVER LH
a. Remove the 2 screws and seat leg side cover.
4. REMOVE LH SEAT REAR SEAT LOCK COVER
a. Remove the 2 screws and seat lock cover.
5. REMOVE RH SEAT REAR SEAT LOCK COVER
a. Remove the 2 screws and seat lock cover.
6. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH
a. Remove the 3 screws.
b. Using a screwdriver, disengage the claws and remove the reclining adjuster inside cover.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
7. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER COVER RH
a. Remove the 3 screws.
b. Using a screwdriver, disengage the claws and remove the reclining adjuster cover.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
8. REMOVE REAR SEAT LAP TYPE BELT ASSEMBLY CENTER
a. Remove the bolt and lap type belt.
9. REMOVE FOLD SEAT STOPPER BAND ASSEMBLY
a. Remove the screw and fold seat stopper band.
10. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK BOARD
a. Remove the rear seatback board cap.
b. Remove the 2 screws.
c. Remove the seatback board by pulling it out in the arrow mark direction shown in the illustration.
11. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK LOCK BEZEL UPPER
a. Remove the clip and screw.
b. Using a screwdriver, disengage the front side claws.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
c. Apply firm pressure in the directions shown to disengage back side claw and remove the seatback lock bezel upper.
12. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK COVER
a. Disengage the claw, and remove the 2 headrest supports.
b. Remove the hog rings and seatback cover together with the pad.
c. Remove the hog rings and seatback cover.
13. REMOVE NO. 1 SEAT CUSHION COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
a. Remove the hog rings between seat cushion cover and cushion frame wire and remove the seat cushion cover together with the pad.
b. Remove the hog rings between the seat cushion cover and the pad.
14. REMOVE REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT COVER RH
a. Remove the 2 screws and seat shoulder belt cover.
15. REMOVE NO. 1 SEATBACK FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY
a. Remove the screw and seatback hinge cover.
b. Remove the nut and seat belt retractor.
c. Remove the 4 bolts and seatback frame.
16. REMOVE REAR SEAT HINGE COVER LH
a. Remove the screw and seat hinge cover.
17. REMOVE REAR SEAT HINGE COVER
a. Remove the screw and seat hinge cover.
18. REMOVE REAR SEAT RECLINING ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY LH
a. Disengage the reclining remote control cable.
b. Remove the 3 bolts and seat reclining adjuster.
19. REMOVE RECLINING CONNECTING PIPE
20. REMOVE NO. 1 REAR SEAT BELT ASSEMBLY OUTER RH
a. Remove the 3 nuts and seat belt reclining sensor together with the seat belt.
21. REMOVE REAR SEAT RECLINING ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY RH
a. Remove the 2 bolts and seat reclining adjuster.
22. REMOVE REAR SEAT TRACK ADJUSTING HANDLE
a. Using a screwdriver, disengage the pin and remove seat track adjusting handle.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
23. REMOVE RECLINING CONTROL LINK SUB-ASSEMBLY
a. Remove the nut.
b. Remove the E-ring and reclining control link.
24. REMOVE NO. 1 SEAT CUSHION FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY
a. Remove the 4 bolts and seat cushion frame.
REASSEMBLY
1. INSTALL NO. 1 SEAT CUSHION FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY
a. Install the seat cushion frame with the bolt.
Torque: 20.6 N.m (210 kgf.cm, 15 ft.lbf)
2. INSTALL RECLINING CONTROL LINK SUB-ASSEMBLY
a. Install the reclining control link with the E-ring.
b. Install the nut.
3. INSTALL REAR SEAT TRACK ADJUSTING HANDLE
a. Install the seat track adjusting handle.
4. INSTALL REAR SEAT RECLINING ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY RH
a. Install the seat reclining adjuster with the bolt.
Torque: 55 N.m (561 kgf.cm, 41 ft.lbf)
5. INSTALL NO. 1 REAR SEAT BELT ASSEMBLY OUTER RH
a. Install the reclining sensor together with the seat belt with the nut.
Torque: 4.0 N.m (41 kgf.cm, 35 in.lbf)
6. INSTALL RECLINING CONNECTING PIPE
7. INSTALL REAR SEAT RECLINING ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY LH
a. Install the seat reclining adjuster with the bolt.
Torque: 43.1 N.m (439 kgf.cm, 32 ft.lbf)
b. Install the reclining remote control cable.
8. INSTALL REAR SEAT HINGE COVER
a. Install the seat hinge cover with the screw.
9. INSTALL REAR SEAT HINGE COVER LH
a. Install the seat hinge cover with the screw.
10. INSTALL NO. 1 SEATBACK FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY
a. Install the seatback frame with the bolt.
Torque: for RH side
55 N.m (561 kgf.cm, 41 ft.lbf)
for LH side
43.1 N.m (439 kgf.cm, 32 ft.lbf)
b. Install the seat belt retractor with the nut.
Torque: 42 N.m (428 kgf.cm, 31 ft.lbf)
11. INSTALL REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT COVER RH
a. Install the seat shoulder belt cover with the 2 screws.
12. INSTALL NO. 1 SEAT CUSHION COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
a. Install the seat cushion pad to the seat cushion cover.
b. Using hog ring pliers, install the seat cushion cover to the seat cushion pad with new hog rings.
NOTICE:
- Be careful not to damage the cover.
- hen installing the hog rings, take care to prevent wrinkles as much as possible.
13. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK COVER
a. Install the seatback pad.
b. Using hog ring pliers, install the seatback cover completely with new hog rings.
NOTICE:
- Be careful not to damage the cover.
- When installing the hog rings, take care to prevent wrinkles as much as possible.
c. Attach a rubber wire with new hog rings, as shown in the illustration.
d. Using hog ring pliers, install new hog rings.
NOTICE:
- Be careful not to damage the cover.
- When installing the hog rings, take care to prevent wrinkles as much as possible.
e. Install the 2 headrest supports.
14. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK LOCK BEZEL UPPER
a. Install the rear seatback lock bezel upper.
b. Install the clip and screw.
15. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK BOARD
a. Install the seatback board with the 2 screws.
b. Install the rear seatback board cap.
16. INSTALL FOLD SEAT STOPPER BAND ASSEMBLY
a. Install the fold seat stopper band with the screw.
17. INSTALL REAR SEAT LAP TYPE BELT ASSEMBLY CENTER
a. Install the lap type belt with the bolt.
Torque: 42 N.m (428 kgf.cm, 31 ft.lbf)
18. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER COVER RH
a. Install the reclining adjuster cover.
b. Install the 3 screws.
19. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH
a. Install the reclining adjuster inside cover.
b. Install the 3 screws.
20. INSTALL RH SEAT REAR SEAT LOCK COVER
a. Install the seat lock cover with the screws.
21. INSTALL LH SEAT REAR SEAT LOCK COVER
a. Install the LH seat rear seat lock cove with the 2 screws.
22. INSTALL REAR SEAT LEG SIDE COVER LH
a. Install the rear seat leg side cover with the 2 screws.
23. INSTALL REAR SEAT LEG COVER RH
a. Install the rear seat leg cover RH with the 2 screws.
24. INSTALL REAR SEAT LEG COVER LH
a. Install the rear seat leg cover LH with the 2 screws.
