INTRODUCTION:

Some 2007 model year Sienna vehicle customers may complain of the Tire Pressure Warning System (TPWS) light intermittently flashing and then turns "ON" with the following DTCs stored in the TPWS ECU:
- C2121 - No signal from Transmitter ID1
- C2122 - No signal from Transmitter ID2
- C2123 - No signal from Transmitter ID3
- C2124 - No signal from Transmitter ID4

The TPWS Receiver/Antenna Assembly has been modified to correct this condition. Follow the repair procedure in this TSB to replace the TPWS Receiver/Antenna Assembly.

APPLICABLE VEHICLES:
- 2007 model year Sienna vehicles produced BEFORE the Production Change Effective VINs shown below.

REPAIR PROCEDURE NO. 1:

NOTE:
BEFORE performing Repair Procedure No. 1, ensure that the VIN falls BEFORE the Production Change Effective VINs listed for Repair Procedure No. 1 in the Production Change Information table in this TSB.


1. Using Techstream, confirm the condition by checking DTCs C2121 - C2124. System Select > Tire Pressure Monitor > Trouble Codes
- If one or more DTCs C2121 - C2124 are present, go to step 2.
- If other DTCs are present, refer to the Repair Manual within E-TAS / TIS library:

2. Remove and replace the Tire Pressure Warning System Receiver/Antenna and ECU Assemblies (replace with NEW P/N 89760-08010 & 89769-08011).

NOTE:
Before removing the ECU, record all four Tire Pressure Warning Valve/Sensor ID numbers from the Tire Pressure Warning System ECU Data List using Techstream.

3. Re-initialize any affected power systems.
4. Road test the vehicle for 20 minutes above 8 km/h to confirm that the Tire Pressure Warning Light does NOT come "ON". If the Tire Pressure Warning Light does come "ON" after 20 minutes of driving, repeat step 1.

NOTE:
If one or more DTCs C2121 - C2124 (Tire Pressure Warning Valve/Sensor ID Numbers Not Found) are stored in the ECU after replacing the Tire Pressure Warning System Receiver/Antenna and ECU Assembly, make sure that the tire pressure warning valve/sensor ID number(s) match the ID number(s) that are registered in the ECU. Refer to TSB2659, "Direct-Type Tire Pressure Warning System Diagnostic Tips".


REPAIR PROCEDURE NO. 2:

NOTE:
BEFORE performing Repair Procedure No. 2, ensure that the VIN falls BEFORE the Production Change Effective VINs listed for Repair Procedure No. 2 in the Production Change Information table in this TSB.
