Introduction

Some 2006 - 2007 model year Sienna vehicles may exhibit a condition where the third row power seat back will not rise when returning from the stowed position when the switch is activated. This condition may also be accompanied by the stow button indicator light flashing and a warning beep. An updated seat track assembly is available to address this condition.

Production Change Information





This TSB applies to all third row power seat equipped 2006 and 2007 MY vehicles produced BEFORE the Production Change Effective VINs shown.





Warranty Information

APPLICABLE WARRANTY

^ This repair is covered under the Toyota Comprehensive Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the vehicle's in-service date.

^ Warranty application is limited to correction of a problem based upon a customer's specific complaint.





Parts Information

Repair Procedure

Replace Rear No. 2 Seat Assembly.

1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.





2. Remove the rear No.2 seat assembly. Refer to Technical Information System (TIS) 2006 or 2007 Sienna Repair Manual:





3. Disassemble the rear No.2 seat.





4. Using the updated seat track assembly reassemble the rear No.2 seat.








5. Install the rear No.2 seat assembly.

6. Reconnect negative (-) battery cable.





7. Re-initialize power Systems. Refer to the following TSBs:
