Rear Seat Assembly (For RH Side)

DISASSEMBLY

CAUTION: Wear protective gloves. Sharp surface on the rear seat back frame could cause injuries to your hands.




1. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION BAND
a. Remove the screw and rear seat cushion band.




2. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST HOLDER

HINT: Follow the same procedures as for the opposite side.

a. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the rear seat headrest holder.




3. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION HINGE SUB-ASSEMBLY

HINT: Follow the same procedures as for the opposite side.

a. Remove the bolt and rear seat cushion hinge.




4. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY
a. Remove the hog ring.
b. Disengage the hook and remove the rear seat cushion frame.




5. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER
a. Remove the 6 hog rings and rear seat cushion cover.




6. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY
a. Disengage the lock button of the rear seat headrest support and remove the rear seat headrest.




7. REMOVE REAR CENTER SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY
a. Disengage the lock button of the rear seat headrest support and remove the rear seat headrest center.




8. REMOVE REAR SEAT BACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY
a. Remove the 3 screws.
b. Disengage the 5 claws and remove the rear seat back board.




9. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT

HINT: Follow the same procedures as for the opposite side.

a. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the front seat headrest support.




10. REMOVE REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT COVER
a. Using a screwdriver with its tip taped with protective tape, disengage the 4 claws and remove the rear seat shoulder belt cover.




11. REMOVE REAR SEAT BACK FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY
a. Remove the 17 hog rings.
b. Remove the rear seat back spring from the rear seat back pad.




12. REMOVE REAR CENTER SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY
a. Insert the belt through the hole into the rear seat back frame.
b. Remove the bolt and rear seat belt outer center.




13. REMOVE REAR SEAT BACK LOCK ASSEMBLY
a. Remove the 2 bolts and rear seat back lock.




14. REMOVE REAR SEAT LOCK HANDLE
a. Remove the screw and rear seat lock handle.




15. REMOVE REAR SEAT BACK COVER
a. Remove the 6 hog rings and rear seat back cover.

REASSEMBLY

CAUTION: Wear protective gloves. Sharp surface on the rear seat back frame could cause injuries to your hands.




1. INSTALL REAR SEAT BACK COVER
a. Using hog ring pliers, install the rear seat back cover with new hog rings.

NOTE:
- Do not contaminate or scratch the rear seat back cover.
- When installing the hog rings, minimize wrinkles as far as possible.




2. INSTALL REAR SEAT LOCK HANDLE
a. Install the rear seat lock handle with the screw.




3. INSTALL REAR SEAT BACK LOCK ASSEMBLY
a. Install the rear seat back lock with the 2 bolts.

Torque: 30 N.m (305 kgf.cm, 22 ft.lbf)




4. INSTALL REAR CENTER SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY
a. Align the retractor with the positioning claws of the rear seat back frame and install the retractor with the bolt.

Torque: 44 N.m (450 kgf.cm, 33 ft.lbf)

b. Insert the belt through the hole into the rear seat back frame.




5. INSTALL REAR SEAT BACK FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY
a. Install the rear seat back spring into the rear seat back pad.
b. Using hog ring pliers, install new hog rings.




6. INSTALL REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT COVER
a. Engage the 4 claws and install the rear seat shoulder belt cover.




7. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT

HINT: Follow the same procedures as for the opposite side.

a. Engage the 2 claws and install the front seat headrest support.




8. INSTALL REAR SEAT BACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY
a. Disengage the lock button of the rear seat headrest support and install the rear seat headrest center.




9. INSTALL REAR CENTER SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY
a. Disengage the lock button of the rear seat headrest support and install the rear center seat headrest.




10. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY
a. Engage the 5 claws and install the rear seat back board.
b. Tighten the 3 screws.




11. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER
a. Using hog ring pliers, install the rear seat cushion cover with new hog rings.

NOTE:
- Do not contaminate or scratch the rear seat back cover.
- When installing the hog rings, minimize wrinkles as far as possible.




12. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY
a. Engage the hook and install the rear seat cushion frame.
b. Install a new hog ring.




13. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION HINGE SUB-ASSEMBLY

HINT: Follow the same procedures as for the opposite side.

a. Install the rear seat cushion hinge with the bolt.

Torque: 21 N.m (215 kgf.cm, 16 ft.lbf)




14. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST HOLDER

HINT: Follow the same procedures as for the opposite side.

a. Engage the 2 claws and install the rear seat headrest holder.




15. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION BAND
a. Install the rear seat cushion band with the screw.
