Tail Lamp: Service and Repair

Rear Combination Light Assembly:

REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY

REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
2. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY




a. Remove the 2 bolts.
b. Slide the tail light (rear combination light) assembly LH toward the rear of the vehicle and release the 2 pins.




c. Disconnect the connector, then remove the tail light (rear combination light) assembly LH.
d. Remove the wire harness clamp.




e. To remove the 3 light bulb sockets and 3 bulbs, turn them in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration.
f. Remove the 3 light bulbs from the 3 light sockets.

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY




a. Install the 3 light bulbs into the 3 light sockets.
b. To install the 3 light bulb sockets and 3 bulbs, turn them in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration.
c. Install the wire harness clamp.




d. Connect the connector, then install the tail light (rear combination light) assembly LH with the 2 bolts.

Torque: 5.4 N.m (55 kgf.cm, 48 in.lbf)

2. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

Torque: 3.9 N.m (40 kgf.cm, 35 in.lbf)
