Clearance Warning ECU:
CLEARANCE WARNING ECU
REMOVAL
1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTE:
- Some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected
- After the ignition switch is turned OFF, the navigation system requires approximately 90 seconds to record various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the ignition switch OFF, wait 90 seconds or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
2. REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL RH
3. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY RH
4. REMOVE CLEARANCE WARNING ECU WITH BRACKET
a. Disconnect the ECU connectors.
NOTE: Do not apply excessive force to the wire harnesses.
b. Remove the bolt, nut and ECU with bracket.
5. REMOVE CLEARANCE WARNING ECU
a. Remove the 2 nuts and clearance warning ECU from the bracket.
NOTE:
- Avoid any impact to the clearance warning ECU.
- Do not drop the ECU. If it is dropped, replace it with a new one.
INSTALLATION
HINT: A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart.
1. INSTALL CLEARANCE WARNING ECU
a. Install the clearance warning ECU to the bracket with the 2 nuts.
NOTE:
- Avoid any impact to the clearance warning ECU.
- Do not drop the ECU. If it is dropped, replace it with a new one.
2. it with a new one. INSTALL CLEARANCE WARNING ECU WITH BRACKET
a. Install the ECU with bracket with the nut and bolt.
b. Connect the ECU connectors.
3. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY RH
4. INSTALL INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL RH
5. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
