REMOVAL

CAUTION: Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the seat frame and adjuster may injure your hands.

HINT:
- Use the same procedures for the LH side and RH side.
- The procedures listed below are for the LH side.

1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH
a. Remove the front seat.

2. REMOVE SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB LH
3. REMOVE RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB LH
4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH
5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH
6. REMOVE INNER FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH
7. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD LH






a. Disconnect the seat heater connector.
b. Detach the wire harness clamp.






c. Detach the hook.






d. Remove the hog rings and seatback cover wires.






e. Remove the nut and seatback cover bracket from the seat frame.






f. Detach the 4 claws and remove the 2 headrest supports.






g. Remove the hog rings and seatback cover with pad.

8. REMOVE LUMBAR SUPPORT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY LH

INSTALLATION

CAUTION: Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the seat frame and adjuster may injure your hands.

HINT:
- Use the same procedures for the LH side and RH side.
- The procedures listed below are for the LH side.

1. INSTALL LUMBAR SUPPORT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY LH
2. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD LH
a. Install seatback cover with pad to the seatback frame.






b. Using hog ring pliers, install new hog rings to the seat frame.






c. Attach the 4 claws to install the 2 headrest supports.






d. Install the seatback cover bracket to the seat frame with the nut.

Torque: 5.5 N.m (56 kgf.cm, 49 in.lbf)

CAUTION: After the seatback trim cover is assembled, make sure the side airbag strap is not twisted.

e. Install the seatback cover wires.






f. Using hog ring pliers, install new hog rings to the seat frame.






g. Attach the hook.






h. Attach the wire harness clamp.
i. Connect the seat heater connector.

3. INSTALL INNER FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH
4. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH
5. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH
6. INSTALL RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB LH
7. INSTALL SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB LH
8. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH
a. Install the front seat assembly.
