Auxiliary Power Outlet: Description and Operation

System Outline

Power is supplied to 12 V socket (Power outlet) even when the ignition switch is at OFF position, by IPO control.

When one of the following conditions is satisfied, power supply to 12 V socket (Power outlet) shall be cut off.
- Amount of the current in use is 6 Ah or more.
- Operating time is 2 hours or more.

When the following condition is satisfied, power supply to 12 V socket (Power outlet) shall be returned.
- Ignition switch is at ACC position.

To improve the engine starting performance, power supply to 12 V socket (Power outlet) shall be cut off for 5 seconds when the ignition switch is at ST position.
