Front Seat Assembly (For Center Seat)
DISASSEMBLYCAUTION: Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the center seat cushion frame and center sub-seatback support may injure your hands.
1. REMOVE CENTER SEATBACK PANEL
a. Detach the 4 claws and 4 clips, and remove the center seatback panel.
b. for Double Cab:
1. Remove the 2 screws.
2. Detach the 4 clips and remove the center seatback panel.
3. Disconnect the power outlet socket connector.
2. REMOVE REAR POWER OUTLET SOCKET ASSEMBLY (for Double Cab)
3. REMOVE REAR POWER OUTLET SOCKET COVER (for Double Cab)
4. REMOVE CENTER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH
a. Using a T30 "TORX" socket, remove the bolt.
b. Detach the 7 claws and 2 clips, and remove the cushion shield.
5. REMOVE CENTER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD RH
a. Using a T30 "TORX" socket, remove the bolt.
b. Detach the 7 claws and 3 clips, and remove the cushion shield.
6. REMOVE CENTER FRONT SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY
a. Remove the 2 bolts and seat cushion center.
7. REMOVE REAR SEAT LOCK LATCH
a. Using a T30 "TORX" socket, remove the 2 bolts.
b. Unfasten the button and remove the seat lock latch.
8. REMOVE CENTER FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER
a. Detach the 3 hooks and remove the seat cushion cover.
9. REMOVE CENTER FRONT SEAT CUSHION PAD
a. Remove the hog rings and seat cushion pad.
10. REMOVE CENTER FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY
a. Remove the bolt and inner belt.
11. DISCONNECT CENTER FRONT SEAT BELT ASSEMBLY RH
a. Remove the bolt and disconnect the seat belt.
12. REMOVE CENTER SEATBACK ASSEMBLY
a. Remove the 2 wire harness clamps from the center seatback frame.
b. LH Side:
Using a T40 "TORX" socket, remove the 2 bolts.
c. RH Side:
Using a T55 "TORX" socket, remove the 2 bolts.
d. Remove the center seatback.
13. REMOVE FOLD SEAT STOPPER CUSHION
a. Using a T20 "TORX" socket, remove the 2 screws and 2 cushions.
14. REMOVE FRONT SEAT UNDER TRAY
a. Disconnect the power outlet socket connector.
b. Using a T30 "TORX" socket, remove the 2 bolts and under tray.
15. REMOVE POWER OUTLET SOCKET ASSEMBLY
16. REMOVE CENTER POWER OUTLET SOCKET COVER
17. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX WIRE
a. Detach the 4 clamps and remove the console box wire.
18. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY
19. REMOVE FRONT SEAT SHOULDER BELT COVER
a. Using a T10 "TORX" socket, remove the 2 screws and shoulder belt cover.
20. REMOVE UPPER REAR SEATBACK LOCK BEZEL
a. Detach the 4 claws and remove the lock bezel.
b. Disconnect the seat belt from the shoulder belt cover.
21. REMOVE LOWER FRONT SEAT SHOULDER BELT COVER
a. Using a T30 "TORX" socket, remove the 2 bolts and shoulder belt cover.
22. REMOVE RECLINING REMOTE CONTROL BEZEL
a. Detach the 2 clips and claw, and then remove the bezel.
23. REMOVE FRONT SEAT TRAY
a. Detach the 5 clips and remove the tray.
24. REMOVE CENTER FRONT SEAT ARMREST COVER
a. Remove the 2 screws and armrest cover.
25. REMOVE SEAT FASTENER COVER
a. Using a screwdriver, detach the 6 claws and remove the 2 covers.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
26. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY
a. Remove the 5 screws.
b. Detach the claws and remove the screw.
c. LH Side:
Disconnect the cable from the center seatback frame inner side.
d. RH Side:
Disconnect the cable from the center seatback frame inner side.
27. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT
a. Detach the 4 claws and remove the 2 headrest supports.
28. REMOVE CENTER FRONT SEATBACK COVER
29. REMOVE CENTER SEATBACK PAD
30. REMOVE CENTER SEAT RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH
a. Detach the claw and remove the cover.
31. REMOVE CENTER SEAT RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH
a. Detach the claw and remove the cover.
32. REMOVE CENTER FRONT SEAT BELT ASSEMBLY
a. Remove the nut and the bolt, and then detach the 2 claws and remove the center seat belt.
REASSEMBLY

1. INSTALL CENTER FRONT SEAT BELT ASSEMBLY RH
a. Attach the 2 claws to install the front center seat belt with the bolt and the nut.
Torque: for nut
42 N.m (428 kgf.cm, 31 ft.lbf)
for bolt
10 N.m (102 kgf.cm, 7 ft.lbf)
2. INSTALL CENTER SEAT RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH
a. Attach the 2 claws to install the cover.
3. INSTALL CENTER SEAT RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH
a. Attach the 2 claws to install the cover.
4. INSTALL CENTER SEATBACK PAD
5. INSTALL CENTER FRONT SEATBACK COVER
6. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT
a. Attach the 4 claws to install the 2 headrest supports.
7. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY
a. RH Side:
Connect the cable to the center seatback frame inner side.
b. LH Side:
Connect the cable to the center seatback frame inner side.
c. Install the screws and attach the claws.
d. Install the 5 screws.
8. INSTALL SEAT FASTENER COVER
a. Attach the 6 claws to install the 2 covers.
9. INSTALL CENTER FRONT SEAT ARMREST COVER
a. Install the armrest cover with the 2 screws.
10. INSTALL FRONT SEAT TRAY
a. Attach the 5 clips to install the tray.
11. INSTALL RECLINING REMOTE CONTROL BEZEL
a. Attach the 2 clips and claw to install the bezel.
12. INSTALL LOWER FRONT SEAT SHOULDER BELT COVER
a. Using a T30 "TORX" socket, install the shoulder belt cover with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 9.0 N.m (92 kgf.cm, 80 in.lbf)
13. INSTALL UPPER REAR SEATBACK LOCK BEZEL
a. Connect the seat belt to the shoulder belt cover.
b. Attach the 4 claws to install the lock bezel.
14. INSTALL FRONT SEAT SHOULDER BELT COVER
a. Using a T10 "TORX" socket, install the shoulder belt cover with the 2 screws.
Torque: 0.9 N.m (9 kgf.cm, 8 in.lbf)
15. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY
16. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX WIRE
a. Attach the 4 clamps to install the console box wire.
17. INSTALL CENTER POWER OUTLET SOCKET COVER
18. INSTALL POWER OUTLET SOCKET ASSEMBLY
19. INSTALL FRONT SEAT UNDER TRAY
a. Using a T30 "TORX" socket, install the under tray with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 4.0 N.m (41 kgf.cm, 35 in.lbf)
b. Connect the power outlet socket connector.
20. INSTALL FOLD SEAT STOPPER CUSHION
a. Using a T20 "TORX" socket, install the 2 cushions with the 2 screws.
Torque: 2.0 N.m (20 kgf.cm, 18 in.lbf)
21. INSTALL CENTER SEATBACK ASSEMBLY
a. Install the center seatback.
b. RH Side:
Using a T55 "TORX" socket, install the 2 bolts.
Torque: 55 N.m (561 kgf.cm, 41 ft.lbf)
c. LH Side:
Using a T40 "TORX" socket, install the 2 bolts.
Torque: 21 N.m (214 kgf.cm, 15 ft.lbf)
d. Install the 2 wire harness clamps to the center seatback frame.
22. CONNECT CENTER FRONT SEAT BELT ASSEMBLY RH
a. Connect the seat belt and install the bolt.
Torque: 42 N.m (428 kgf.cm, 31 ft.lbf)
23. INSTALL CENTER FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY
a. Install the inner belt with the bolt.
Torque: 42 N.m (428 kgf.cm, 31 ft.lbf)
NOTICE: Do not overlap the anchor part of the seat belt and protruding part of the center seat cushion frame.
24. INSTALL CENTER FRONT SEAT CUSHION PAD
a. Using hog ring pliers, install the seat cushion pad to the seat cushion frame with new hog rings.
25. INSTALL CENTER FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER
a. Install the seat cushion cover, and then attach hooks.
26. INSTALL REAR SEAT LOCK LATCH
a. Install the seat lock latch and fasten the button.
b. Using a T30 "TORX" socket, install the 2 bolts.
Torque: 10 N.m (102 kgf.cm, 27 ft.lbf)
27. INSTALL CENTER FRONT SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY
a. Install the front seat cushion with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 30 N.m (306 kgf.cm, 22 ft.lbf)
28. INSTALL CENTER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD RH
a. Attach the 7 claws and 3 clips to install the cushion shield.
b. Using a T30 "TORX" socket, install the bolt.
Torque: 2.0 N.m (20 kgf.cm, 18 in.lbf)
29. INSTALL CENTER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH
a. Attach the 7 claws and 2 clips to install the cushion shield.
b. Using a T30 "TORX" socket, install the bolt.
Torque: 2.0 N.m (20 kgf.cm, 18 in.lbf)
30. INSTALL REAR POWER OUTLET SOCKET COVER (for Double Cab)
31. INSTALL REAR POWER OUTLET SOCKET ASSEMBLY (for Double Cab)
32. INSTALL CENTER SEATBACK PANEL
a. Attach the 4 claws and 4 clips to install the center seatback panel.
b. for Double Cab:
1. Connect the power outlet socket connector.
2. Attach the 4 clips to install the center seatback panel.
3. Install the 2 screws.
