4WD CONTROL ECU

COMPONENTS:





REMOVAL
1. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH (for Regular Cab)
(a) Remove the front door scuff plate RH.

HINT: Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH (for Double Cab)
(a) Remove the front door scuff plate RH.

HINT: Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

3. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD RH
(a) Remove the cowl side trim board RH.

HINT: Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

4. REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL RH
5. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY RH
6. REMOVE 4WD CONTROL ECU
(a) Disconnect the 2 ECU connectors.





(b) Remove the bolt and ECU.

INSTALLATION





1. INSTALL 4WD CONTROL ECU
(a) Install the ECU with the bolt.
Torque: 8.0 Nm (82 kgf-cm, 71 inch lbs.)
(b) Connect the 2 ECU connectors.

2. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY RH
3. INSTALL INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL RH
4. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD RH
(a) Install the cowl side trim board RH.

HINT: Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

5. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH (for Regular Cab)
(a) Install the front door scuff plate RH.

HINT: Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

6. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH (for Double Cab)
(a) Install the front door scuff plate RH.

HINT: Use the same procedures described for the LH side.
