DESCRIPTION

The MG ECU located in the inverter with converter assembly monitors its internal operation and it will set DTCs when it detects malfunctions. If any of the following DTCs are output, replace the inverter with converter assembly.
HINT: The term "drive motor A" indicates MG2.





MONITOR DESCRIPTION

The MG ECU performs diagnostic monitoring to verify proper operation of internal ECU systems. In one of these monitors, the MG ECU monitors the power supply for the motor main CPU. If the MG ECU detects a failure in the power supply of the motor main CPU, the hybrid vehicle control ECU illuminates the MIL and sets a DTC.
