DOOR LOCK: WIRELESS DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM: TERMINALS OF ECU
TERMINALS OF ECU
1. CHECK MAIN BODY ECU (INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY)
(a) Disconnect the main body ECU (instrument panel junction block assembly) connectors.
(b) Measure the resistance and voltage between each terminal of the wire harness side connectors and body ground.
If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
(c) Reconnect the main body (instrument panel J/B) connectors.
(d) Measure the voltage between each terminal of the wire harness side connectors and body ground.
HINT:
- *1: When operating the motor.
- *2: When operating the answer back function.
- *3: w/o Power Back Door System
2. CHECK CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY)
(a) Disconnect the D40 certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) connector.
(b) Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
- If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
(c) Reconnect the D40 certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) connector.
(d) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
- If the result is not as specified, the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) may have a malfunction.
