FREEZE FRAME DATA

1. FREEZE FRAME DATA
HINT: The hybrid vehicle control ECU records vehicle and driving condition information as freeze frame data the moment a DTC is stored. It is used for estimating or simulating the vehicle conditions when the malfunction occurred.

(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(b) Turn the power switch on (IG).
(c) Turn the Techstream on.
(d) Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Trouble Codes.
(e) Read output DTCs.
(f) Check the freeze frame data of the detected DTCs.
