Removal








BRAKE CONTROL: FRONT SPEED SENSOR: REMOVAL

REMOVAL
HINT:
- Use the same procedure for the LH side and RH side.
- The following procedure is for the LH side.
- If the sensor rotor needs to be replaced, replace it together with the front drive outboard joint shaft assembly Removal.

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected. Repair Instruction - Initialization

2. REMOVE SERVICE PLUG GRIP

3. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL
4. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER
5. REMOVE FRONT FENDER MOULDING SUB-ASSEMBLY LH Removal

6. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD Removal

7. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER Removal

8. REMOVE FRONT SPEED SENSOR






(a) Disconnect the front speed sensor connector and remove the 2 clamps.






(b) Remove the bolt and No. 2 sensor clamp from the body.






(c) Remove the bolt, No. 1 sensor clamp, and flexible hose as a set from the shock absorber assembly.






(d) Remove the bolt, resin clamp, and the front speed sensor.

NOTE:
- Prevent foreign matter from attaching to the front speed sensor tip.
- Clean the sensor installation hole and contact surface every time the sensor is removed.
