P310 HYBRID BATTERY CONTROL: BATTERY PLUG: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

4. REMOVE SERVICE PLUG GRIP Removal

5. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH Removal

6. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL Removal

7. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

8. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY
9. SEPARATE INVERTER RESERVE TANK SUB-ASSEMBLY






(a) Remove the 2 bolts and inverter reserve tank sub-assembly.
10. REMOVE INVERTER COVER Removal

11. INSPECT TERMINAL VOLTAGE Removal

12. INSTALL INVERTER COVER Installation

13. INSTALL INVERTER RESERVE TANK SUB-ASSEMBLY






(a) Install the inverter reserve tank to the inverter with converter assembly with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 10 Nm (102 kgf-cm, 7 ft-lbf)

CAUTION: Be sure to wear insulated gloves and protective goggles.
NOTE: Insulate the removed terminals with insulating tape.

(a) Remove the HV battery module LH.





(1) Remove the battery room ventilation hose between the HV battery module LH and the center HV battery module.





(2) Disconnect the wire harness clamp of the battery thermo sensor.





(3) Remove the nut and main battery cable from the HV battery module LH.

NOTE:
- Insulate the tool with insulating tape.
- Do not use a universal joint. Using a universal joint may cause the socket extension to drop and create a short circuit.





(4) Remove the nut, then disconnect the EV battery plug from the HV battery module LH.

NOTE:
- Insulate the tool with insulating tape.
- Do not use a universal joint. Using a universal joint may cause the socket extension to drop and create a short circuit.
(5) Remove the carry belts from the center HV battery module and install them to the HV battery module LH.
NOTE: Insert the ends of the carry belts into the installation holes. Pull the carry belts upward to securely install them.





(6) Remove the HV battery module LH.
101. REMOVE ELECTRIC VEHICLE BATTERY PLUG ASSEMBLY
CAUTION: Be sure to wear insulated gloves and protective goggles.
NOTE: Insulate the removed terminals with insulating tape.





(a) Disconnect the 2 connectors and 2 clamps.






(b) Remove the 2 bolts, nut, and EV battery plug.
