ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION

1. HEADLIGHT LEVELING SWITCH






(a) Connect the battery positive (+) lead to the terminal 1 and the battery negative (-) lead to the terminal 5.
(b) Measure the resistance between the terminal 4 and the battery negative (-) lead when headlight leveling switch is operated.
(c) Measure the resistance between the terminal 5 and the battery negative (-) lead when headlight leveling switch is operated.

(d) Inspect switch illumination.





(1) Connect the battery positive (+) lead to the terminal 3 and the battery negative (-9 lead to the terminal 6, and check that the illumination comes on.
