Installation

ENGINE IMMOBILISER: TRANSPONDER KEY ECU:

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL REINFORCEMENT ASSEMBLY (w/ Bracket)
(a) Insert the reinforcement hook into the holes of the bracket, and temporarily install the reinforcement.
(b) Install the instrument panel reinforcement with the 7 bolts.
(c) Install the 2 caps.









(d) Install the 5 bolts.
Torque: 5.0 Nm (51 kgf-cm, 44 in-lbf)

NOTE: Tighten the bolts in the order shown in the illustration to install the air conditioning unit assembly.

(e) Engage the 20 clamps.





(f) Connect the connector.
(g) Connect the 2 airbag connectors (Service Precautions).
(h) Install the 3 bolts.





(i) Engage the 2 clamps and connect the 6 connectors to the air conditioning unit assembly.





2. INSTALL TRANSPONDER KEY ECU





(a) Install the transponder key ECU with the nut.
(b) Connect the connector.
3. INSTALL TRANSPONDER KEY BRACKET (w/ Bracket)
(a) Clean the 3 screw holes.





(b) Install the transponder key bracket with 3 new screws.
4. INSTALL AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY (w/ Bracket) (Installation)

5. INSTALL DRIVER SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK (w/ Bracket) (Installation)

6. INSTALL ECM (for 2TR-FE w/ Bracket)

7. INSTALL ECM (for 1GR-FE w/ Bracket)

8. INSTALL PARKING BRAKE CONTROL LEVER ASSEMBLY (for Manual Transmission w/ Bracket) (Installation)

9. INSTALL STEERING COLUMN ASSEMBLY (w/ Bracket) (Installation)

10. INSTALL STEERING SLIDING YOKE (w/ Bracket) (Installation)

11. INSTALL STEERING COLUMN HOLE COVER (w/ Bracket) (Installation)

12. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL BRACE MOUNTING BRACKET (w/ Bracket) (Installation)

13. INSTALL AIR DUCT ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Bracket) (Installation)

14. INSTALL AIR DUCT ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Bracket) (Installation)

15. INSTALL NO. 1 REAR AIR DUCT (for Double Cab w/ Bracket) (Installation)

16. INSTALL NO. 2 REAR AIR DUCT (for Double Cab w/ Bracket) (Installation)

17. INSTALL NO. 3 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT (w/ Bracket) (Installation)

18. INSTALL NO. 1 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT (Installation)

19. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD
(a) Install the instrument panel safety pad (Installation).
