INTRODUCTION:
Some 2007 - 2010 model year Tacoma vehicles may exhibit a condition where the air volume from the defroster nozzle is less than expected. A newly designed defroster air nozzle is available for this condition.

NOTE:

REPAIR PROCEDURE:
1. Remove the defroster nozzle.
Refer to the Repair Manual within E-TAS / TIS library:

NOTE:
Only steps 1 - 48 (beginning of procedure through "Remove Defroster Nozzle Assembly w/No. 2 Heater to Register Duct") of the Repair Manual removal procedures are necessary to remove the defroster nozzle.

2. Install the updated defroster nozzle.

Only steps 9 - 56 ("Install Defroster Nozzle Assembly w/ No. 2 Heater to Register Duct"through end of procedure) of the Repair Manual installation procedures are necessary to install the updated defroster nozzle.
