Disassembly








ENGINE HOOD / DOOR: REAR DOOR:

DISASSEMBLY

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL





2. REMOVE REAR DOOR FRAME GARNISH LH
(a) Disengage the 4 clips and remove the rear door frame garnish LH.

NOTE: Confirm that no clips remain on the door panel when the garnish is removed. Transfer any remaining clips to the garnish side before installing.





3. REMOVE REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY
(a) Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disengage the 2 claws, then pull out the rear power window regulator switch assembly by pulling it toward the front of the vehicle.
(b) Disconnect the connector, then remove the rear power window regulator switch assembly.
4. REMOVE REAR DOOR TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY LH





(a) Remove the screw, then remove the door assist grip assembly LH.





(b) Disengage the 9 clips.
(c) Remove the rear door trim panel assembly by sliding it upward.
5. REMOVE REAR DOOR INSIDE HANDLE SUB-ASSEMBLY LH





(a) Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disengage claw A as shown in the illustration.
(b) Move the rear door inside handle sub-assembly LH in the direction indicated by the arrow mark in the illustration. This will release the claw and allow the removal of the rear door inside handle sub-assembly LH.





(c) Disconnect the 2 cables from the rear door inside handle sub-assembly LH.
6. REMOVE REAR SPEAKER ASSEMBLY (Removal)





7. REMOVE NO. 2 REAR DOOR TRIM BRACKET
(a) Remove the 3 screws and No. 2 rear door trim bracket.





8. REMOVE REAR DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER LH
(a) Remove the rear door service hole cover LH.

NOTE: Remove the remaining tape on the door side.

9. REMOVE REAR DOOR BELT MOULDING LH ()





10. REMOVE REAR DOOR GLASS SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

HINT: Insert a shop rag inside the door panel to prevent the glass from being scratched.

(a) Connect the power window regulator switch.
(b) Move the rear door glass sub-assembly LH until the 2 bolts appear in the service holes.
(c) Remove the 2 bolts and rear door glass sub-assembly LH.

NOTICE:
- Be careful when removing the 2 bolts as the glass may fall and be damaged.
- Be careful not to damage the glass.

(d) Disconnect the power window regulator switch.





11. REMOVE REAR DOOR GLASS RUN LH
(a) Remove the rear door glass run LH.
12. REMOVE REAR DOOR REAR LOWER WINDOW FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY LH





(a) Remove the hole plug.





(b) Remove the 2 bolts and rear door rear lower window frame sub-assembly LH.





13. REMOVE REAR DOOR FRONT WINDOW GUIDE SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Remove the bolt and rear door front window guide sub-assembly LH.





14. REMOVE REAR DOOR WINDOW REGULATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Disconnect the connector.
(b) Loosen bolt A.
(c) Remove the 5 bolts, then remove the rear door window regulator sub-assembly LH.

NOTE: Be careful when removing the bolts as the window regulator may fall and be damaged.

HINT: Remove the window regulator through the service hole.





15. REMOVE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Using a torx socket wrench T25 , remove the 3 screws and power window regulator motor assembly LH.





16. REMOVE REAR DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Disconnect the connector.
(b) Using a torx socket wrench T30 , remove the 3 screws, then remove the rear door lock assembly LH.

NOTE: Be careful when removing the 3 screws as the door lock may fall and be damaged.

HINT: Remove the door lock through the service hole.





17. REMOVE REAR DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE COVER LH
(a) Using a torx socket wrench T30 , loosen the screw and remove the rear door outside handle cover.
18. REMOVE REAR DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE ASSEMBLY RH





(a) Remove the outside handle by sliding and pulling it in the direction indicated by the arrow mark in the illustration.

NOTE: If the release plate is not pulled and held when removing the outside handle, the release plate will interfere with the outside handle. This will damage the release plate.





(b) Disengage the 3 claws and remove the outside handle front pad.





(c) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the outside handle rear pad.





19. REMOVE REAR DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Using a torx socket wrench T30 , loosen the screw.
(b) Slide the rear door outside handle frame sub-assembly LH to remove it.

HINT: Remove the rear door outside handle frame sub-assembly LH through the service hole.





20. REMOVE REAR DOOR CHECK ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Remove the bolt and 2 nuts, then remove the rear door check assembly LH.
21. REMOVE REAR DOOR WEATHERSTRIP LH





(a) Disengage the 2 clips.





(b) Using a clip remover, disengage the 32 clips, then remove the rear door weatherstrip LH.

NOTE: Remove the remaining tape on the door side.
