SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM: FRONT SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY (w/ Occupant Classification ECU, Occupant Classification Sensor):

REMOVAL

NOTICE:
- If the wiring connector of the SRS is disconnected with the ignition switch in the ON position, DTCs will be recorded.
- Never use SRS parts from another vehicle. When replacing the parts, replace them with new ones.
- Never reuse an occupant classification sensor if an airbag has previously deployed in a collision.
- Remove the front seat cushion cover pad and front seat cushion cover together, in order to avoid occupant classification sensor malfunctions.

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY
Wait for 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable to prevent the airbag from working.
2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH (Removal)

3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH (Removal)

4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (Removal)

5. REMOVE OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION ECU (Removal)

6. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HINGE COVER LH (Disassembly)

7. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HINGE COVER RH (Disassembly)

8. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK ASSEMBLY (Disassembly)

9. REMOVE FRONT SEAT TRACK LOWER FRONT BRACKET LH (Disassembly)

10. REMOVE FRONT SEAT TRACK LOWER FRONT BRACKET RH (Disassembly)

11. REMOVE FRONT SEAT TRACK LOWER REAR BRACKET LH (Disassembly)

12. REMOVE FRONT SEAT TRACK LOWER REAR BRACKET RH (Disassembly)

13. REMOVE FRONT SEAT OUTER TRACK ASSEMBLY LH (Disassembly)

14. REMOVE FRONT SEAT OUTER TRACK ASSEMBLY RH (Disassembly)

15. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SPRING ASSEMBLY (Disassembly)

16. REMOVE OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION SENSOR





(a) Disconnect the connector from the occupant classification sensor.
(b) Remove the wiring harness clamp.
(c) Disengage the clamps from the seat cushion frame.
(d) Remove the 2 clips and the occupant classification sensor.
