1. CHECK SPEAKER
(a) Check the malfunctioning speakers.

C -- INSPECT FRONT NO. 3 SPEAKER

3. INSPECT FRONT NO. 1 SPEAKER





(a) Disconnect the M8 and N10 speaker connectors.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:





NG -- REPLACE FRONT NO. 1 SPEAKER
OK -- Continue to next step.
4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER - FRONT NO. 1 SPEAKER)





(a) Disconnect the M8 and N10 speaker connectors.
(b) Disconnect the K17 amplifier connector.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:
for LH
for RH









NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- REPLACE STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER
5. INSPECT FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER





(a) Disconnect the K10 and K12 speaker connectors.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:





NG -- REPLACE FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER
OK -- Continue to next step.
6. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER - FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER)





(a) Disconnect the K16 amplifier connector.
(b) Disconnect the K10 and K12 speaker connectors.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:
for LH
for RH









NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- REPLACE STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER
7. INSPECT FRONT NO. 3 SPEAKER





(a) Disconnect the M1 and N1 speaker connectors.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:





NG -- REPLACE FRONT NO. 3 SPEAKER
OK -- Continue to next step.
8. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER - FRONT NO. 3 SPEAKER)





(a) Disconnect the M1, N1, K10 and K12 speaker connectors.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:
for LH
for RH









NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- REPLACE FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER
9. INSPECT FRONT NO. 4 SPEAKER





(a) Disconnect the K14 speaker connector.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:





NG -- REPLACE FRONT NO. 4 SPEAKER
OK -- Continue to next step.
10. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER - FRONT NO. 4 SPEAKER)





(a) Disconnect the K14 speaker connector.
(b) Disconnect the K17 amplifier connector.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- REPLACE STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER
11. CHECK SPEAKER
(a) Check the malfunctioning speakers.

B -- INSPECT BOX SPEAKER
A -- Continue to next step.
12. INSPECT REAR NO. 1 SPEAKER





(a) Disconnect the O1 and O7 speaker connectors.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:





NG -- REPLACE REAR NO. 1 SPEAKER
OK -- Continue to next step.
13. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER - REAR NO. 1 SPEAKER)





(a) Disconnect the K16 amplifier connector.
(b) Disconnect the O1 and O7 speaker connectors.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:
for LH
for RH









NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- REPLACE STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER
14. INSPECT BOX SPEAKER





(a) Disconnect the P14 speaker connector.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:





NG -- REPLACE BOX SPEAKER
OK -- Continue to next step.
15. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER - BOX SPEAKER)





(a) Disconnect the K17 amplifier connector.
(b) Disconnect the P14 speaker connector.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:
