Reassembly

SEAT: REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Double Cab):

REASSEMBLY

CAUTION: Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the seat cushion frame and the seatback frame may injure your hands.





1. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER RH
(a) Using hog ring pliers, install the seatback cover to the seatback pad with new hog rings.

NOTICE:
- Be careful not to damage the cover.
- When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.





2. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD RH
(a) Install the seatback cover with pad to the rear seatback frame, and then attach the hooks.





3. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT RH
(a) Attach 4 claws to install the 2 headrest supports.
4. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY RH





5. INSTALL REAR SEAT TURN LOCK SUB-ASSEMBLY RH
(a) Install the seat turn lock with the bolt.
Torque: 45 Nm (459 kgf-cm, 33 ft-lbf)





6. INSTALL REAR SEAT HINGE COVER RH
(a) Install the hinge cover with the 2 screws.
7. INSTALL REAR SEAT HINGE COVER LH
(a) Install the hinge cover with the 2 screws.





8. INSTALL NO. 1 RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE RH
(a) Install the release handle with the 4 screws.
(b) Connect the cable and install a new cable tie.





9. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER RH
(a) Using hog ring pliers, install the seat cushion cover to the seat cushion pad with new hog rings.

NOTICE:
- Be careful not to damage the cover.
- When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.

10. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD RH





(a) Using hog ring pliers, install the seat cushion cover with pad to the rear seat cushion frame with new hog rings, and then attach the hooks.





(b) Attach the hooks to the seat cushion frame.





(c) Fold down the seat cushion cover and close the 2 fasteners, and then attach the hook.





(d) Connect the cable to the seat turn lock.





11. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK LOCK CONTROL BEZEL RH
(a) Attach the 4 claws to install the bezel.





12. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY RH
(a) Using a T40 "TORX" socket, install the seat cushion with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 30 Nm (306 kgf-cm, 22 ft-lbf)





13. INSTALL OUTER REAR SEAT LOCK COVER RH
(a) Attach the clip and 3 claws in the order shown in the illustration, and install the cushion shield.
(b) Install the screw.





14. INSTALL INNER REAR SEAT LOCK COVER RH
(a) Attach the 3 claws in the order shown in the illustration, and install the cushion shield.
(b) Install the 2 screws.





15. INSTALL NO. 1 SEAT LEG SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Install the seat leg with the bolt.
Torque: 50 Nm (510 kgf-cm, 37 ft-lbf)
(b) Using a T45 "TORX" socket, install the bolt.
Torque: 30 Nm (306 kgf-cm, 22 ft-lbf)





16. INSTALL SEAT LEG SUB ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Install the seat leg with the bolt.
Torque: 50 Nm (510 kgf-cm, 37 ft-lbf)





17. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER LH
(a) Using hog ring pliers, install the seatback cover to the seatback pad with new hog rings.

NOTICE:
- Be careful not to damage the cover.
- When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.





18. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD LH
(a) Install the seatback cover with pad to the rear seatback frame, and then attach the hooks.





19. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT
(a) Attach the 8 claws to install the 4 headrest supports.
20. INSTALL CENTER REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY
21. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY LH





22. INSTALL REAR SEAT TURN LOCK SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Install the seat turn lock with the bolt.
Torque: 45 Nm (459 kgf-cm, 33 ft-lbf)





23. INSTALL REAR SEAT HINGE COVER RH
(a) Install the hinge cover with the 2 screws.
24. INSTALL REAR SEAT HINGE COVER LH
(a) Install the hinge cover with the 2 screws.





25. INSTALL NO. 1 RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE LH
(a) Install the release handle with the 4 screws.
(b) Connect the cable and install a new cable tie.





26. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER LH
(a) Using hog ring pliers, install the seat cushion cover to the seat cushion pad with new hog rings.

NOTICE:
- Be careful not to damage the cover.
- When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.

27. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD LH





(a) Using hog ring pliers, install the seat cushion cover with pad to the seat cushion frame with new hog rings.





(b) Attach the hooks to the seat cushion frame.





(c) Attach the hooks to the seat cushion frame.





(d) Fold down the seat cushion cover and close the 2 fasteners, and then attach the hook.





(e) Connect the cable to the rear seat turn lock.





28. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK LOCK CONTROL BEZEL LH
(a) Attach the 4 claws to install the bezel.





29. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Using a T40 "TORX" socket, install the seat cushion with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 30 Nm (306 kgf-cm, 22 ft-lbf)





30. INSTALL INNER REAR SEAT LOCK COVER LH
(a) Attach the 3 claws in the order shown in the illustration, and install the cushion shield.
(b) Install the 2 screws.





31. INSTALL OUTER REAR SEAT LOCK COVER LH
(a) Attach the 3 claws and clip in the order shown in the illustration, and install the cushion shield.
(b) Install the screw.





32. INSTALL NO. 1 SEAT LEG SUB-ASSEMBLY RH
(a) Install the seat leg with the bolt.
Torque: 50 Nm (510 kgf-cm, 37 ft-lbf)





33. INSTALL NO. 1 SEAT LEG SUB ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Install the seat leg with the bolt.
Torque: 50 Nm (510 kgf-cm, 37 ft-lbf)
(b) Using a T45 "TORX" socket, install the bolt.
Torque: 30 Nm (306 kgf-cm, 22 ft-lbf)





34. INSTALL REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Using a T50 "TORX" socket, install the seat with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 45 Nm (459 kgf-cm, 33 ft-lbf)
