Installation
TIRE AND WHEEL: TIRE PRESSURE WARNING ECU:
INSTALLATION
1. INSTALL TIRE PRESSURE WARNING ECU
(a) Install the ECU with the 2 nuts.
Torque: 7.5 Nm (76 kgf-cm, 66 in-lbf)
(b) Connect the ECU connector.
2. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (Installation)
3. INSTALL INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL RH (Installation)
4. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD RH
(a) Install the cowl side trim board RH (Installation).
HINT: Use the same procedures described for the LH side.
5. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH (for Double Cab, for CrewMax)
(a) Install the front door scuff plate RH (Installation).
HINT: Use the same procedures described for the LH side.
6. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH (for Regular Cab)
(a) Install the front door scuff plate RH (Installation).
HINT: Use the same procedures described for the LH side.
7. REGISTRATION OF TRANSMITTER ID
(a) Register the transmitter ID (Registration).
8. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
(a) Perform initialization (Initialization).
NOTE: Be sure to inflate all tires to the proper inflation pressure before initialization.
9. CHECK TIRE PRESSURE AFTER REPAIRS
(a) After repairs, confirm that the actual tire pressures are displayed in the DATA LIST (Scan Tool Testing and Procedures).
