Rear Door Unlock Detection Switch RH Circuit
DOOR LOCK: POWER DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM: Rear Door UNLOCK Detection Switch RH Circuit
Rear Door UNLOCK Detection Switch RH Circuit
DESCRIPTION
The rear door unlock detection switch RH is built into the rear door lock motor RH. The switch turns on when the rear door RH is unlocked and turns off when the door is locked. The main body ECU is connected to the rear door lock motor RH via terminal LSWR, and rear door RH lock/unlock state signals are input to the ECU. The main body ECU applies voltage to the door unlock detection switch via terminal LSWR. When the door unlock detection switch is off (there is continuity between the switch terminals), a lock state signal is input to the ECU. When the switch is on (there is no continuity between the switch terminals), an unlock state signal is input.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
PROCEDURE
1. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (UNLOCK DETECTION SWITCH)
(a) Check the Data List to ensure proper functioning of the unlock detection switch.
Main Body
OK:
The display is as specified in the normal condition column.
NG -- INSPECT REAR DOOR LOCK MOTOR ASSEMBLY RH (UNLOCK DETECTION SWITCH)
OK -- PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
2. INSPECT REAR DOOR LOCK MOTOR ASSEMBLY RH (UNLOCK DETECTION SWITCH)
(a) Remove the rear door lock motor RH (Removal).
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:
NG -- REPLACE REAR DOOR LOCK MOTOR ASSEMBLY RH
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR DOOR LOCK MOTOR RH - MAIN BODY ECU AND BODY GROUND)
(a) Disconnect the O4 door lock connector.
(b) Disconnect the J3 ECU connector.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU
