Disassembly

SEAT: FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Center Seat):

DISASSEMBLY

CAUTION: Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the center seat cushion frame and center sub-seatback support may injure your hands.

1. REMOVE CENTER SEATBACK PANEL

(a) Detach the 4 claws and 4 clips, and remove the center seatback panel.

(b) for Double Cab:
(1) Remove the 2 screws.
(2) Detach the 4 clips and remove the center seatback panel.
(3) Disconnect the power outlet socket connector.

(c) for CrewMax:
(1) Detach the 4 claws and 4 clips, and remove the center seatback panel.
(2) Disconnect the 2 connectors.
2. REMOVE REAR POWER OUTLET SOCKET ASSEMBLY (for Double Cab) (Removal)

3. REMOVE REAR POWER OUTLET SOCKET COVER (for Double Cab) (Removal)

4. REMOVE NO. 2 CONSOLE BOX REGISTER ASSEMBLY (for CrewMax)
(a) Remove the 3 screws and register.

5. REMOVE NO. 1 CONSOLE BOX REGISTER ASSEMBLY (for CrewMax)
(a) Remove the 3 screws and register.

6. REMOVE NO. 2 SEATBACK LOCK CONTROL BEZEL (for CrewMax)
(a) for AC Power Supply:
(1) Disconnect the clamp.
(b) Remove the 4 screws and bezel.
7. REMOVE REAR POWER OUTLET SOCKET (for Standard) (Removal)

8. REMOVE REAR POWER OUTLET SOCKET COVER (for Standard) (Removal)

9. REMOVE REAR POWER POINT SOCKET (for AC Power Supply) (Removal)

10. REMOVE VIDEO TERMINAL (for CrewMax) (Removal)

11. REMOVE CENTER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH
(a) Using a T30 "TORX" socket, remove the bolt.
(b) Detach the 7 claws and 2 clips, and remove the cushion shield.

12. REMOVE CENTER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD RH
(a) Using a T30 "TORX" socket, remove the bolt.
(b) Detach the 7 claws and 3 clips, and remove the cushion shield.
13. REMOVE CENTER FRONT SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 2 bolts and seat cushion.
14. REMOVE REAR SEAT LOCK LATCH

(a) Using a T30 "TORX" socket, remove the 2 bolts.

(b) Unfasten the button and remove the seat lock latch.

15. REMOVE CENTER FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER
(a) Detach the 3 hooks and remove the seat cushion cover.

16. REMOVE CENTER FRONT SEAT CUSHION PAD
(a) Remove the hog rings and seat cushion pad.

17. REMOVE CENTER FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the bolt and inner belt.

18. DISCONNECT CENTER FRONT SEAT BELT ASSEMBLY RH
(a) Remove the bolt and disconnect the seat belt.
19. REMOVE CENTER SEATBACK ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 2 wire harness clamps from the center seatback frame.

(b) LH Side:
Using a T40 "TORX" socket, remove the 2 bolts.
(c) RH Side:
Using a T55 "TORX" socket, remove the 2 bolts.
(d) Remove the center seatback.

20. REMOVE FOLD SEAT STOPPER CUSHION
(a) Using a T20 "TORX" socket, remove the 2 screws and 2 cushions.
21. REMOVE FRONT SEAT UNDER TRAY

(a) Disconnect the power outlet socket connector.

(b) Using a T30 "TORX" socket, remove the 2 bolts and under tray.
22. REMOVE POWER OUTLET SOCKET ASSEMBLY (Removal)

23. REMOVE CENTER POWER OUTLET SOCKET COVER (Removal)

24. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX WIRE
(a) Detach the 4 clamps and remove the console box wire.
25. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY

26. REMOVE FRONT SEAT SHOULDER BELT COVER
(a) Using a T10 "TORX" socket, remove the 2 screws and shoulder belt cover.

27. REMOVE UPPER REAR SEATBACK LOCK BEZEL
(a) Detach the 4 claws and remove the lock bezel.
(b) Disconnect the seat belt from the shoulder belt cover.

28. REMOVE LOWER FRONT SEAT SHOULDER BELT COVER
(a) Using a T30 "TORX" socket, remove the 2 bolts and shoulder belt cover.

29. REMOVE RECLINING REMOTE CONTROL BEZEL
(a) Detach the 2 clips and claw, and then remove the bezel.

30. REMOVE FRONT SEAT TRAY
(a) Detach the 5 clips and remove the tray.

31. REMOVE CENTER FRONT SEAT ARMREST COVER
(a) Remove the 2 screws and armrest cover.

32. REMOVE SEAT FASTENER COVER
(a) Using a screwdriver, detach the 6 claws and remove the 2 covers.

HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

33. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 6 screws.

(b) Detach the 21 claws and remove the screw.

(d) RH Side:
Disconnect the cable from the center seatback frame inner side.

34. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT
(a) Detach the 4 claws and remove the 2 headrest supports.
35. REMOVE CENTER FRONT SEATBACK COVER
36. REMOVE CENTER SEATBACK PAD

37. REMOVE CENTER SEAT RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH
(a) Detach the claw and remove the cover.
38. REMOVE CENTER SEAT RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH
(a) Detach the claw and remove the cover.

39. REMOVE CENTER FRONT SEAT BELT ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the nut and bolt, and then detach the 2 claws and remove the center seat belt.
