2UZ-FE ENGINE MECHANICAL: DRIVE BELT:

REMOVAL

1. REMOVE THROTTLE BODY COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (Removal)

2. REMOVE AIR CLEANER HOSE ASSEMBLY (Removal)

3. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER (Replacement)

4. REMOVE FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT





(a) Loosen the belt tension by turning the belt tensioner counterclockwise, and then remove the fan and generator V belt.

HINT: The pulley bolt for the belt tensioner has left-hand thread.
