Applicability

Introduction

Some 2007 and 2008 model year Double Cab and Crew Max Tundras may exhibit water condensation dripping from the over head center console dome lamp and/or sunglass holder. To prevent this condition from occurring use the following procedures below.

APPLICABLE WARRANTY

^ This repair is covered under the Toyota Comprehensive Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the vehicle's in-service date.

^ Warranty application is limited to correction of a problem based upon a customer's specific complaint.

Repair Procedure

1. Remove the roof console box assembly.

A. Using a screwdriver detach the 4 claws and remove the lens.

HINT

Tape the screwdriver tip before use.





B. Bend part "A" up as shown in Figure 1, and remove the 2 screws.

C. Remove the 4 screws.

D. Disconnect the connector and then remove the roof console box.








2. Place pads across the overhead console opening in the locations shown in Figure 2.

NOTE

Be sure to use the measurements in Figure 3 for proper pad placement.
