Reverse Signal Circuit

DESCRIPTION

The radio and navigation assembly receives a reverse signal from the park/neutral position switch and information about the GPS antenna, and then adjusts vehicle position.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT RADIO AND NAVIGATION ASSEMBLY




(a) Disconnect the radio and navigation assembly connector R9.
(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard voltage:





OK -- REPLACE RADIO AND NAVIGATION ASSEMBLY

NG -- Continue to next step.

2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO AND NAVIGATION - PARK / NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH)




(a) Disconnect the radio and navigation assembly connector R9 and park/neutral position switch connector P1.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

3. INSPECT PARK / NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH




(a) Disconnect the park/neutral position switch connector P1.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:





NG -- REPLACE PARK / NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH
OK -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
