INSPECTION PROCEDURE
PROCEDURE
1. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (POWER SOURCE)
(a) Disconnect the P11 regulator switch connector.
(b) Turn the ignition switch ON.
(c) Check the voltage between the terminal 4 of the wire harness side connector and the body ground.
Standard voltage:
10 to 14 V
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (SWITCH - RELAY)
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH (REAR RH)
(a) Remove the regulator switch.
(b) Check the resistance between the switch terminals when the switch is operated, as shown in the table below.
Standard resistance:
NG -- REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH (REAR RH)
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (SWITCH - MOTOR) (SWITCH - BODY GROUND)
(a) Disconnect the P15 motor connector.
(b) Check the resistance between the wire harness side connectors.
Standard resistance:
(c) Check the resistance between the P11 regulator switch connector and body ground.
Standard resistance:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
4. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY RH (REAR RH)
(a) Remove the motor.
(b) Apply battery voltage to connector terminals 1 and 2.
(c) Check that the motor smoothly rotates.
Standard:
NG -- REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY RH (REAR RH)
OK -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MASTER SWITCH - SWITCH)
