INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (CLOCK ASSEMBLY - TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY)




(a) Disconnect clock assembly connector E11.




(b) Disconnect television camera assembly connector S1.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:






NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. INSPECT CLOCK ASSEMBLY




(a) Reconnect clock assembly connector E11.
(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard voltage:






NG -- REPLACE CLOCK ASSEMBLY
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. INSPECT TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY
(a) Reconnect clock assembly connector E11 and television camera assembly connector S1.




(b) Check the waveform of the television camera assembly using an oscilloscope.
OK:
Pulses as shown in the illustration.






NG -- REPLACE TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY
OK -- PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
