2GR-FE FUEL: FUEL INJECTOR: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL FUEL INJECTOR ASSEMBLY





(a) Apply a light coat of spindle oil or gasoline to new O-rings, and install them to each injector.
NOTE: The wound or the foreign body must not adhere in the ditch of O-ring.





(b) Apply a light coat of spindle oil or gasoline where the fuel delivery pipe contacts the O-ring.
(c) Push the fuel injector while turning it to install the injector in the fuel delivery pipe.
(d) Position the fuel injector connector outward.
NOTICE:
- Be careful not to twist the O-ring.
- After installing the fuel injector, check that it turns smoothly. If not, reinstall it with a new O-ring.

2. INSTALL FUEL DELIVERY PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation
3. CONNECT FUEL TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation
4. TEMPORARILY INSTALL NO. 1 SURGE TANK STAY Installation
5. TEMPORARILY INSTALL THROTTLE BODY BRACKET Installation
6. INSTALL INTAKE AIR SURGE TANK ASSEMBLY Installation
7. FULLY TIGHTEN NO. 1 SURGE TANK STAY Installation
8. FULLY TIGHTEN THROTTLE BODY BRACKET Installation
9. CONNECT ENGINE ROOM MAIN WIRE Installation
10. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation
11. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL Installation
12. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT Installation
13. INSPECT FOR FUEL LEAK Testing and Inspection
14. ADD ENGINE COOLANT Service and Repair
15. INSPECT FOR ENGINE COOLANT LEAK Testing and Inspection
16. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation
17. INSTALL OUTER COWL TOP PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation
18. INSTALL WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND LINK ASSEMBLY Installation
19. INSTALL COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation
20. INSTALL FRONT WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY LH Installation
21. INSTALL FRONT WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY RH Installation
22. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER Installation
23. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY Installation
