AUDIO / VISUAL: STEERING PAD SWITCH: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL STEERING PAD SWITCH ASSEMBLY (w/ Microphone)





(a) Engage the 2 pins to install the steering pad switch.
(b) Install the screw.
Torque: 2.4 Nm (24 kgf-cm, 21 in-lbf)





(c) Engage the 2 pins to install the steering pad switch assembly.
(d) Install the screw.
Torque: 2.4 Nm (24 kgf-cm, 21 in-lbf)
(e) Connect the steering pad switch connector to the spiral cable.
2. INSTALL STEERING PAD SWITCH LH (w/o Microphone)





(a) Engage the 2 pins to install the steering pad switch LH.
(b) Install the screw.
Torque: 2.4 Nm (24 kgf-cm, 21 in-lbf)
(c) Connect the steering pad switch connector to the spiral cable.
3. INSTALL STEERING PAD Installation
4. INSTALL LOWER NO. 3 STEERING WHEEL COVER Installation
5. INSTALL LOWER NO. 2 STEERING WHEEL COVER Installation
6. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

7. INSPECT STEERING PAD Installation
8. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT Diagnosis System
