BRAKE CONTROL: VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM (for Hydraulic Brake Booster):

DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART
NOTICE: When removing any parts, turn the ignition switch off.
HINT:
- If no abnormality is found when inspecting parts, check the skid control ECU and check for poor contact at ground points.
- If a trouble code is displayed during the DTC check, inspect the trouble areas listed for that code, for details of the code.
- When 2 or more DTCs are detected, perform each circuit inspection until the problem is identified.
- All DTCs in the table below are detected in accordance with 1 trip detection logic.

(*1), (*2):
Even after the trouble areas are repaired, the ABS warning light will not go off unless the following operations are performed.

- (*1):
1. Drive the vehicle at 20 km/h (12 mph) for 30 seconds or more and check that the ABS warning light goes off.
2. Clear the DTC.

- (*2):
1. Keep the vehicle stationary for 5 seconds or more and depress the brake pedal several times.
2. Repeat the above operation 3 times or more and check that the ABS warning light goes off.
3 Clear the DTC.

(*3): 4WD
(*4): Skid control (VSC control) buzzer sounds.
HINT: In some cases, Techstream cannot be used when the ABS warning light and SLIP indicator remains on.
