SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM: CURTAIN SHIELD AIRBAG ASSEMBLY (for Double Cab): REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. PRECAUTION
2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
Wait for at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable to prevent the airbag from working.
3. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY
HINT: Double Cab Removal.

4. REMOVE CURTAIN SHIELD AIRBAG ASSEMBLY
(a) Disconnect the connector from the curtain shield airbag assembly.
NOTICE: When handling the airbag connector, take care not to damage the airbag wire harness.

(b) Remove the 10 bolts, clip and the curtain shield airbag assembly in the order show in the illustration.
