INSPECTION PROCEDURE

HINT
After the inspection is completed, clear the DTCs.

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK IF PROPER DISC IS INSERTED

(a) Make sure that the DVD is an video DVD or a CD with an MP3 file, and that it is not deformed, flawed, stained, deteriorated, or otherwise defective.

OK:

Normal DVD or CD

HINT
* Translucent or uniquely-shaped DVDs or CDs cannot be played.
* For details on playable DVDs or CDs, refer to the Owner's Manual.

NG -- DISC IS FAULTY
OK -- Continue to next step.

2. REPLACE DISC

(a) Replace the disc with another and recheck.

(1) Replace the disc with a normal one.

(2) Clear the DTC Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

(3) Recheck DTCs and check if the same trouble occurs again.

OK:

Malfunction disappears.

NG -- REPLACE TELEVISION DISPLAY ASSEMBLY
