THEFT DETERRENT / KEYLESS ENTRY: ENGINE HOOD COURTESY SWITCH: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL Removal

2. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE Removal

3. REMOVE HIGH PITCHED HORN ASSEMBLY (for 1GR-FE) Removal

4. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE BRACKET Removal

5. REMOVE LOW PITCHED HORN ASSEMBLY (for 1GR-FE) Removal

6. REMOVE LOW PITCHED HORN ASSEMBLY (for 2TR-FE) Removal

7. REMOVE HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE COVER

(a) Remove the 2 screws.





(b) Detach the claw and remove the hood lock control cable cover.

8. REMOVE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 3 bolts.





(b) Detach the clamp.





(c) Disconnect the connector.

(d) Disconnect the hood lock control cable and remove the hood lock assembly.
