SEAT: REAR NO. 2 SEAT ASSEMBLY: DISASSEMBLY

CAUTION:
Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the parts may injure your hands.

HINT
* Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.
* The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

1. REMOVE REAR SEAT CAP

(a) Remove the 2 caps.

2. REMOVE REAR SEAT LOWER CUSHION HINGE COVER LH

(a) Remove the 2 screws.

(b) Detach the 3 claws and remove the cover.

3. REMOVE REAR SEAT LOWER CUSHION HINGE COVER RH

(a) Remove the 2 screws.

(b) Detach the 2 claws and guide and remove the cover.

4. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH Removal

5. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT CUSHION MOULDING

(a) Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips.

(b) Detach the 2 claws and 4 guides and remove the moulding.

6. REMOVE SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD

(a) Detach the 2 fasteners.

(b) Open the 2 fasteners.

(d) Detach the 2 hooks.

(e) Detach the 2 hooks and remove the seat cushion cover with pad.

7. REMOVE NO. 3 SEAT CUSHION COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Detach the fastener.

(b) Remove the hog rings and seat cushion cover.

8. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT CUSHION PROTECTOR

(a) Cut off the tack pins and remove the protector from the seat cushion pad.

9. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT CUSHION MOULDING

(a) Remove the 2 screws.

(b) Detach the 2 claws and remove the moulding.

10. REMOVE NO. 2 SEAT CUSHION FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Operate the seat track lock lever and retract the seat cushion frame.

(b) Using a T40 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the 4 "TORX" bolts and seat cushion frame.

11. REMOVE 3RD SEAT LINK SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Remove the 3 clips.

(b) Detach the 2 claws and 4 guides and remove the 3rd seat link.

12. REMOVE SEAT TRACK LOCK LEVER

(a) Detach the clamp.

(b) Twist the cable end in the direction indicated by the arrow and disconnect the cable.

(c) Remove the screw.

(d) Detach the 2 guides and remove the lever.

13. REMOVE REAR SEAT LEG COVER LH

(a) Remove the clip.

(b) Detach the 3 hooks and 5 clips and remove the cover.

14. REMOVE REAR NO. 3 SEAT LEG COVER LH

(a) Detach the 2 claws and remove the cover.

15. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION INNER HINGE COVER LH

(a) Remove the screw and clip.

(b) Detach the guide and remove the cover.

16. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION INNER HINGE COVER RH

(a) Remove the screw and clip.

17. REMOVE REAR SEAT LOCK CONTROL CABLE LH

(a) Detach the clamp.

(b) Twist the cable end in the direction indicated by the arrow and remove the cable.

18. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEATBACK LOCK STRIKER COVER

(a) Using a screwdriver, detach the claw and guide and remove the cover.

Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

19. REMOVE REAR SEAT LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Remove the 2 screws.

(b) Detach the guide and remove the lever.

(c) Detach the clamp.

(d) Twist the cable end in the direction indicated by the arrow and disconnect the cable.

20. REMOVE ROPE HOOK ASSEMBLY

(a) Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and open the cover.

HINT
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

(b) Remove the bolt and rope hook.

21. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEATBACK LOCK STRIKER COVER

(a) Using a screwdriver, detach the claw and guide and remove the cover.
