* DTCs C1413 and C1275 are for the front speed sensor RH.
* DTCs C1414 and C1276 are for the front speed sensor LH.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
* When replacing the master cylinder solenoid, perform calibration Calibration.
* Check the speed sensor signal after cleaning or replacement Test Mode Procedure.

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MOMENTARY INTERRUPTION) C1405

NG -- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SKID CONTROL ECU - FRONT SPEED SENSOR)
OK -- Continue to next step.

2. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (FRONT SPEED SENSOR) C1271

NG -- CHECK FRONT SPEED SENSOR INSTALLATION
OK -- Continue to next step.

3. PERFORM TEST MODE (SIGNAL CHECK)

(a) Perform the signal check in the Test Mode Procedure Test Mode Procedure.

OK:

All test mode DTCs are cleared.

NG -- CHECK FRONT SPEED SENSOR INSTALLATION
OK -- Continue to next step.

4. RECONFIRM DTC

(a) Clear the DTCs Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

(b) Turn the ignition switch off.

(c) Start the engine.

(d) Drive the vehicle at a speed of 40 km/h (25 mph) or more for at least 60 seconds.

(e) Check if the same DTC is output Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

8. INSPECT SKID CONTROL SENSOR WIRE C1405

NG -- REPLACE SKID CONTROL SENSOR WIRE
OK -- Continue to next step.

9. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SKID CONTROL ECU - FRONT SPEED SENSOR) C1405

NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

10. CHECK TERMINAL VOLTAGE (FR+, FL+) C1405

NG -- REPLACE MASTER CYLINDER SOLENOID Disassembly
OK -- Continue to next step.

11. RECONFIRM DTC

(a) Clear the DTCs Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

(b) Turn the ignition switch off.

(c) Start the engine.

(d) Drive the vehicle at a speed of 40 km/h (25 mph) or more for at least 60 seconds.
