BRAKE CONTROL: VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM: C1225-C1228, C1468, C1469, C146A, C146B: SM Solenoid Circuit
C146B - SRL Solenoid Circuit
DESCRIPTION
The solenoid goes on when signals are received from the skid control ECU and controls the pressure action on the wheel cylinders thus controlling the braking force.
INSPECTION PROCEDURE
NOTICE:
When replacing the master cylinder solenoid, perform zero point calibration Calibration.
PROCEDURE
1. RECONFIRM DTC
HINT
These DTCs are set when a problem is identified in the master cylinder solenoid.
The solenoid circuit is in the master cylinder solenoid.
Therefore, solenoid circuit inspection and solenoid unit inspection cannot be performed. Be sure to check if the DTCs are output before replacing the master cylinder solenoid.
(a) Clear the DTCs Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
(b) Drive the vehicle at a speed of approximately 32 km/h (20 mph) or more for 60 seconds or more.
(c) Check if the same DTCs are output Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
Result
B -- USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK How To Proceed With Troubleshooting
A -- REPLACE MASTER CYLINDER SOLENOID Disassembly
