DESCRIPTION
In this case, wireless control functions are normal but the hazard warning light or wireless door lock buzzer answer-back function does not operate.

PROCEDURE
1. CHECK WIRELESS DOOR LOCK CONTROL FUNCTIONS
(a) Check the wireless door lock functions by operating the transmitter switches.

2. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (WIRELESS DOOR LOCK BUZZER, FLASHER RELAY)
(a) Connect a Techstream to the DLC3.
(b) Turn the ignition switch to ON.
(c) Turn the tester ON.
(d) Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Main Body / Active Test.
(e) According to the display on tester, perform the "Active Test".
Main Body ECU:
Result:
B -- INSPECT WIRELESS DOOR LOCK BUZZER
A -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK HAZARD WARNING LIGHTS
(a) Check that the hazard warning lights flash when the hazard warning signal switch is pressed.
OK:
Hazard warning lights flash when hazard warning signal switch is pressed.
NG -- GO TO LIGHTING SYSTEM Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview
OK -- REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU
4. INSPECT WIRELESS DOOR LOCK BUZZER
(a) Disconnect the A12 wireless door lock buzzer connector.
(b) Measure the resistance.
Standard resistance:
(c) Reconnect the wireless door lock buzzer connector.
NG -- REPLACE WIRELESS DOOR LOCK BUZZER Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.
5. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (WIRELESS DOOR LOCK BUZZER - MAIN BODY ECU)
(a) Disconnect the A12 wireless door lock buzzer connector.
(b) Disconnect the 1B main body ECU connector.
(c) Measure the resistance.
Standard resistance:
(d) Reconnect the buzzer connector.
(e) Reconnect the main body ECU connector.
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU
