DESCRIPTION

This circuit shows the sensor power supply, sensor GND and sensor signal wires between the clearance warning ECU and No. 1 ultrasonic sensors. The No. 1 ultrasonic sensors are digital sensors.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (CLEARANCE WARNING ECU - NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR LH)

(a) Disconnect the E80 clearance warning ECU connector.

(b) Disconnect the d2 No. 1 ultrasonic sensor LH connector.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





(d) Reconnect the clearance warning ECU connector.

(e) Reconnect the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor connector.

NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

2. REPLACE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR LH

(a) Replace the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor LH with a normally functioning sensor Removal.

HINT
All the ultrasonic sensors are the same. Switch the right and left sensors to confirm if the sensors function normally.

3. CHECK INTUITIVE PARKING ASSIST SYSTEM

(a) Check the operation of the Intuitive parking assist system Operation Check.

4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (ULTRASONIC SENSOR LH - ULTRASONIC SENSOR RH)

(a) Disconnect the d2 No. 1 ultrasonic sensor LH connector.

(b) Disconnect the d1 No. 1 ultrasonic sensor RH connector.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





(d) Reconnect the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor connectors.

NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

5. REPLACE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RH

(a) Replace the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor RH with a normally functioning sensor Removal.

HINT
All the ultrasonic sensors are the same. Switch the right and left sensors to confirm if the sensors function normally.
