TIRE AND WHEEL: TIRE AND WHEEL SYSTEM: INSPECTION

1. INSPECT TIRES

(a) Check the tires for wear and proper inflation pressure.

Cold Tire Inflation Pressure:





(b) Using a dial indicator, check the tire runout.





Tire runout:

3.0 mm (0.118 in.) or less

2. ROTATE TIRES

3. INSPECT WHEEL BALANCE





(a) Perform off-car balancing.

(b) If necessary, perform on-car balancing.

Imbalance after adjustment:

Steel Wheel
12 g (0.026 lb) or less

Aluminum Wheel
6 g (0.013 lb) or less

4. INSPECT FRONT AXLE HUB BEARING Axle System

5. INSPECT REAR AXLE SHAFT BEARING Axle System
