Rear View Monitor System (w/o Navigation System)

PARK ASSIST / MONITORING: REAR VIEW MONITOR SYSTEM (w/o Navigation System): TERMINALS OF ECU

1. TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY





(a) Disconnect the T16 connector from the television camera assembly.

(b) Measure the voltage of each terminal of the wire harness side connector.





If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

(c) Reconnect the T16 connector to the television camera assembly.

(d) Check for pulses between each terminal of the connector.





HINT
A waterproof connector is used for the television camera assembly. Therefore, inspect the waveform at the navigation receiver assembly with the connector connected.

If the result is not as specified, the camera may have a malfunction.

(e) Reference (Oscilloscope waveform):

A waterproof connector is used for the television camera assembly. Therefore, inspect the waveform at the navigation receiver assembly with the connector connected.

(1) Waveform 1 (camera lens is not covered, displaying an image)





HINT
The video waveform changes according to the image sent by the television camera assembly.

(2) Waveform 2 (camera lens is covered, blacking out the screen)

2. CLOCK ASSEMBLY (Multi-Information Display)





(a) Disconnect the E11 connector from the clock assembly.

(b) Measure the voltage of each terminal of the wire harness side connector.





If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

(c) Reconnect the E11 connector to the clock assembly.

(d) Check for pulses between each terminal of the connector.

A waterproof connector is used for the television camera assembly. Therefore, inspect the waveform at the clock assembly with the connector connected.

If the result is not as specified, the camera may have a malfunction.

(e) Reference (Oscilloscope waveform):
